Do you think Marry O'neil would have treated Roberto differently if she knew that him and his family had recently been deported?
I think she would have treated him the same because she did nice things for them like eating slowly so they new how to eat properly and paying for the meal, so I think she would have behaved the same even if she new what had recently happen.
Panchito is "Stepping Out." Defend this statement.
Panchito is Stepping Out by singing in front of his class and going to a dance even though he has never been to one.
How have you "Stepped Out?"
One time I "Stepped Out" by playing a card game that I thought would be really boring, but now I play it almost every day.
Put yourself in the shoes of a farmworker youth. Imagine working 14 hours in harsh conditions. What would be the hardest thing about this life for you?
I think the hardest thing would be the lack of food and water, because after working for a long time you get thirsty and you waste a lot of energy so you need food.
One of the farmworker kids says, "after all the work is over nobody remembers the people. Or the children who worked. The farmworker is forgotten." Do you agree with this statement? Do these videos change the way you think about fruits and vegetables?
No because it's not like all our food comes from the child laborers.
Panchito's family sticks together, the help each other through poverty and there is a high level of respect. Do you think Panchito made the right choice?
I think he made the correct choice because he should go to college and get an education so he can get a good paying job and not live in poverty any more.
